Replacement brake disc for PFV Direct Drive V3
Ever since the disc brake was invented vibration and pulsation caused by thermal expansion has been a major issue giving rise to warped discs - until now?
PFC has released new V3 disc and hat technology. The advanced design features a patented attachment design that uses a retention ring that holds the hat and disc together.
The ring means no need for torque wrenches, and no hassle. The ability to change a disc quickly and efficiently saves time and effort. As well as being convenient, the new V3 technology is much lighter than previous designs, making it easier to put on and pull off, and making the vehicle lighter.
This V3 disc retention method is based on the use of a two-turn retaining ring, which is held in a groove in the hat that overlaps the disc flanges – effectively locking the disc to the hat.
● Exceptional manufacturing standards - Run out less than 0.0254mm, Thickness variation less than 0.00762mm. Surface finishes less than .7 microns. When used in conjunction with Z rated fast road/track day pads, component life and on track performance markedly improved over competitors pads.

Z-Rated® – It’s quicker, it’s cooler and it’s patented. Every year hundreds of major championships around the world are won with PFC Z-Rated® calipers, Direct Drive™ discs and Carbon Metallic® pads.
Z-Rated compound has been developed for fast road / track day applications. It provides more stopping power and increased fade resistance over the standard OE materials but retains the good qualities of the road pad i.e., low dusting and noise along with low wear rate.
• High performance compound, gained through competition pad developments
• Compound designed for low dusting qualities
• Several built-in noise suppression technologies
• Excellent disc conditioning, giving even transfer layer on disc to reduce uneven pad deposits.
Typical applications: This compound can be used in OE calipers or aftermarket brake kits in applications where an increase in performance is required over the standard OE friction material.
Sold as set of 4 pads for one axle.

Ever since the disc brake was invented vibration and pulsation caused by thermal expansion has been a major issue giving rise to warped discs - until now.
With PFC’s two-piece floating Direct Drive disc assemblies, the disc flange floats in the fitting structure, allowing radial and axial expansion of the disc without being constrained by the hub or hat.
Years of R&D and thousands of race miles have resulted in the development of PFC’s patented Direct Drive system
Direct Drive V2 is an integral drive in hat system and is a second generation disc mounting system designed to enhance the Z-Rated Big Brake kits by reducing the number of components and overall disc assembly weight.
