Motorsport Connecting Rods *Carrilo Carrillo is one of the most respected connecting rod manufacturers in competitive motor sports. Carrillo rods are constructed from their propriety alloy and forged to their custom specifications. The rods are then fully machined to guarantee the removal of all surface imperfections. After heat treatment, each connecting rod is magnaflux inspected and hardness checked, then machined to final size. Motorsport Connecting Rod bolt *Carrilo WMC6 (H6-A-701)The H11 bolt (WMC7 and WMC6) is a high quality, aircraft standard fastener. Under racing conditions, we suggest that the H11 bolts be changed periodically.All bolts should be lubricated under the heads as well as on the threads. We recommend the bolt lube supplied with the rods, or as an alternative, a molybdenum base paste mixed with engine oil.
