At the heart of the unique DesignTek air filter is a specially developed polyurethane foam which acts as a filtration medium, higher both higher performance and life expectancy then paper air filters. BMC air filters are designed and produced to ensure a higher air flow than original paper filters. In F1, for example, BMC cotton filters minimize the loss of air flow pressure passing through the air filter; this way ensures the best conditions for full exploitation of maximum power. Therefore the benefits of replacing the original paper filter with BMC cotton air filter, produced using the same technology and materials as the F1 air filters, are evident.

DESIGN AND MATERIALS
Qualified engineers using advanced software and expert technicians using the latest technologies produce BMC air filters. An F1 filter must be very light, must be made of the best raw materials and must improve performance. For this reason we use only alloy mesh with epoxy coating to ensure protection from petrol fumes and from oxidization due to the humidity of the air. The filtering material is composed of a special cotton gauze soaked with low-viscosity oil to give you the best air permeability.

V-Flow air induction system was designed specifically for the Cayenne to increase power and torque by allowing more air into the engine. Our specially designed air boxes seal off the area behind the headlights to allow our custom cone air filters to breathe unrestricted fresh air. The V-Flow air intake system was engineered utilizing state of the art CAD CAM 3D modeling, CNC machining, computer controlled Superflow air flow testing, rotational molding, injection molding and countless man hours. The Cayenne V-Flow system installs in the factory location where the OEM air boxes sit and utilize the OEM ram air fresh air ducts for lower air intake temperatures and added power. Our laser cut heat shields prevent the ingestion of engine air into the air filter for more dense intake air. Additionally, our system incorporates a custom cotton air filter with optional synthetic filter sock and a 6inch injection molded Venturi that acts as a vacuum for cold-air.
