4300K light colour resembles the colour of the original Porsche Litronic HID lights. 6000K has a bit more blue tint to the light. Light intensity is the same in both colours.

Our new T-LIGHT v3 kit has 30-40% increased brightness compared to our previous HID kit. However, the difference depends on several factors, especially the ageing of the HID bulbs.

Current consumption and heat emission is lower than normal halogen lamps.

We have tried a lot of LED kits in the 993 low beam projector lamp, and none will come near to using HID lamps, which has a omnidirectional light output. LED's work OK in open reflector designs, but not in this kind of lamp construction, they produce the wrong light output pattern, and does not produce the light intensity as HID bulbs.

T-LIGHT v3 High Beam is meant for use in conjunction with our T-LIGHT v3 HID kit for the 993 low beams. It is also possible to use with our previous T-LIGHT v2 kit, but we recommend to upgrade to v3 if possible.

We do not recommend to use this LED kit in the Porsche 993 Low beam lights. The light output pattern using these LED bulbs will be wrong.

We have a bundle product with both the LED and HID for a full upgrade of the Porsche 993 headlights.

Current consumption and heat is lower than the original H1 halogen bulbs. Normal incandescent halogen bulbs have a light output of 1100 to 1300 Lumen.

A short note on light colour temperature

The T-LIGHT LED high beam has a light colour temperature of 6500K. Using a LED system with a more yellow colour would have lowered the light output, and raised the price. We therefore chose to go for the standard 6500K version. We like the whiter shade of the high beams. Normally, only the driver see these lights.

With respect to light colour, we are more concerned with the look of the low beams. These are the ones other people see, and most of our customers don't want these to be too white or blueish. Our 4300K Low Beam kit is therefore by far the most popular, which is the same colour as used in the Porsche Litronic system.

A sealed high quality SKF ball bearing for use in the Porsche 964 and 993 rear spoiler mechanism. The sealed bearing will stand up to the harsh environment in the engine compartment.

You will need one of these to get rid of a grinding noise when the rear spoiler is raised or lowered, a money-saving DIY instead of buying a complete mechanism from Porsche.

Smart Ballast for use with LED brake lights in cars with Cruise Control. Tested in Porsche models 964, 993 and 996. Other models on request.



The Bergvill F/X LED Smart Ballast is a circuit that allows for problem-free use of LED brake bulbs in Porsche cars fitted with a Cruise Control unit.
LED bulbs use considerably less current than normal incandescent bulbs. The reduced current load on the brake light circuit is detected by the Cruise Control unit as a fault, and it will not allow engaging of cruise function.
The Smart Ballast simulates the normal incandescent bulb current load, but without wasting energy or the need for bulky or very hot ballast resistors.

The Smart Ballast is ONLY needed if you are using LEDs only as brake lights. (and no normal incandescent bulbs) This means LEDs in the normal rear/brake lights, and LEDs in the third brake light if fitted.

Please note the following:

• Only ONE Smart Ballast is needed per car
Cars without Cruise Control DO NOT NEED this circuit
• You DO NOT NEED this circuit if you have the normal incandescent third brake light
• This circuit will only work for solving issues using LED brake lights in Porsche cars. It will not work for solving any issues when using LED bulbs in turn signals or any other purpose.

Tested in Porsche models 928, 964, 993 and 996. Other models on request.

The BERGVILL F/X T-SPOILER Advanced Spoiler Control Unit is a direct replacement for the original spoiler control unit used in all Porsche 964 and 993 models. By default, it operates in the same way as the original module, but with several enhancements. Most Porsche 964 and 993 owners now see the end of their CCU fan service life, causing a noticeable whirr or buzzing sound behind the dashboard. The fan will eventually stop, causing problems with temperature regulation. This small fan is imperative for correct control of the cabin temperature, and a non-op fan will make your cabin temperature slowly decrease during driving. This fan costs USD120 when changed in conjunction with our CCU repair services.

You'll need a set of CCU removal tools to change the fan.
