This a replica of the Porsche Germany RS lightweight factory heat duct that was used on all 3.6 liter special RS lightweight rare cars.

The Porsche part is ugly roto-formed cheap plastic with parting lines whereas accurate replica is carbon fiber.

Saves 8 to 9lbs about 4Kg from the rear of all 964's and 993's. Will not work on C2 Turbos/965 cars.

Replaces blower motor assembly and ductwork and still allows plenty of heat just like the factory RS part.

Ultra cool clear coated real carbon fiber tube that really cleans up engine bay and makes working on engine easy.

Simple do it yourself 20 minute installation that gives you the RS style engine look.

All late model 993's 1996-98 require the 964 early type fan shroud (as shown on exploded image)

Porsche 964/993 89-98 EXCEPT 95's*. 993's require the 964 fan shroud part # 964.106.403.02 . Many people are using these on 95's but fitment at the base is poor, and we do not recommend installation on this model year.

Rennline’s blower motor bypass pipe is a carbon fiber replica of the factory installed unit found on the lightweight 3.6 RS race cars. This pipe allows you to save 9 pounds from the removal of the factory blower motor assembly, but still have a functioning heater system in your car. Manufactured from ultra strong, lightweight carbon fiber and comes equipped with the aluminum fitting for the distributor breather tube. Available with or without a machined aluminum 3.6 (or 3.8) insignia plate at the top.

This modification reduces your cars weight by about 10 pounds and really cleans up the engine bay. This kit is an exact replica as used by Porsche Motorsports for the factory lightweight 964 CUP and 964 RSR race cars. Manufactured from aluminum and is available in Red and Black Powder coat or clear anodized. Comes with all the stainless steel hardware required for a 20 minute installation.
