If you're serious about how your 993, 996, 997, Cayman, or Boxster handles, you should upgrade the rear suspension with adjustable control arm links. There are two major drawbacks to the factory links:
1) You can't lower your car and maintain proper suspension geometry. The factory links create too much toe-in, which cannot be adjusted out, creating handling problems and excessive tire wear.
2) The factory links have rubber bushings, which make handling imprecise, especially in performance driving when suspension loads are highest.
Rennline adjustable control arm links solve both these problems. Manufactured from 6061 aluminum and feature a turnbuckle design that allows each arm to be lengthened or shortened as needed to restore proper suspension geometry on a lowered Porsche. Adjustable Upper Control Arm set replaces the stock upper wishbone (KT) and camber arms.
Adjustable length makes it easy to achieve aggressive camber settings.
These have spherical bearings in place of the compliant factory rubber bushings for increased precision and control. The bearings are fully weather sealed to keep out dirt, water and contaminants that wear out unprotected bearings.
Machined from aluminum billet, the are arms are attractive and sturdy.

Prevent Alignment Settings From Slipping
Losing on the track is bad enough, but losing the alignment on the track is even worse. Prevent your eccentric adjuster bolts from slipping under heavy cornering loads with our Eccentric Adjuster Locking Kit.
Complete kit includes four lockout plates. Two plates are used to lock the rear toe adjusters and two plates to lock the camber settings.
Retain convenience and functionality of the eccentric adjuster. The original functionality of the adjuster is completely preserved. The plate can be set in any position.
Retain full range of the adjuster. These lockout plates do not limit adjustment range in any way, maximum toe and negative camber can be achieved with these plates in place.
Works with OEM fixed length arms and our adjustable length control arms as well.The unique design features a slotted hole that counters the slot provided for the adjuster. The plate can be moved up and down to reach any camber or toe setting desirable.
The Locking plates function by increasing the friction that holds the factory eccentric adjusters in place. These plates are guaranteed to prevent any adjuster slip even under aggressive driving conditions.

We choose to carry these competition proven ERP 993 toe control arms, in addition to our standard design, because they are simply the best on the market. They are a direct replacement for the factory links, and will improve handling,stability, and increase rear toe adjustability.
A precision Teflon lined spherical rod end replaces the compliant factory rubber bushing for improved suspension response and feedback. The result is improved stability and control.
The two adjusting links have left and right hand threads on each end. Rotating either of the links will increase or decrease the overall length of the arm and adjust toe.

It used to be a difficult task
This clever tool is a real time saver that makes easy work of removing split bushings. Doing the job with the arms still on the car for 911, 964, and 993 saves time and labor.
Split bushings are actually two separate bushings, each pressed in from opposite sides of the arm. Removing them requires driving them out from the parting line where they meet, in the center of the arm. This has traditionally been a difficult job that requires removing the arm and fumbling with a punch to try and drive out the bushings from the center.

Track Rods are one of the most critical pieces of a 993 rear suspension as these rods locate the rear spindle assembly.
