What's the difference between normal and racing seats?
Normal seats are designed for safety and comfort when driving your car normally on our streets. These seats main priority is keeping the driver of the Porsche as comfortable as possible while offering back support keeping you behind the wheel for longer.
Racing seats are for a different purpose, when out on the track you are likely to be exposed to more G-Force then you would encounter when driving on roads. These seats are designed to keeping you in place when driving on a track, so that you aren’t flung around when you turn a corner, meaning that you are able to steer without interference from gravity.
These seats are considerably less comfortable then their ‘standard’ counterpart, so you probably don’t want them in your daily driver, but if your car spends its weekends tearing up the local track, then you are going to want racing seats in your Porsche.
