The IPD 987.2 Boxster "Competition" Plenum was designed to meet the needs of the most demanding Boxster S enthusiasts. The "Competition" Plenums is internally larger and specifically designed to utilized the larger 82mm 997 GT3 throttle body. This new 987.2 Competition Plenum follows in the foot steps of the very successful 987.1 Competition Plenum, which has proven itself to be the absolute single best performance mod that can be installed on any 987.1. The combination of the patented IPD "Y" designed Plenum and Porsche's largest TB yield great performance gains that can be seen and felt throughout the entire power band.

The "Competition" version was designed and developed to work with Boxster S's equipped with high quality high-flow aftermarket cat-back exhausts. The addition of headers and high-flow cats will only further compliment the dramatic increases with intake air flow delivered by the IPD Plenum.

Performance gains take place throughout both horsepower and torque curves but are most realized through the mid-range and well into peak power range. DesignTek Air Induction systems for the Porsche Cayman S. Engineered utilizing state of the art CAD CAM 3D modeling, CNC machining, computer controlled Superflow air flow testing, rotational molding, injection molding and countless man hours, these systems represent the apex of air induction technologies. All of our systems install in the factory location and utilize the OEM "ram air" fresh air ducts for lower air intake temperatures and added power. Additionally, our systems also incorporate a custom cotton air filter and a 6" injection molded Venturi that acts as a vacuum for cold-air. Verus Engineering set out to improve airflow through the factory intake system and free up horsepower by using an improved filter media and CFD influenced filter design. Utilizing CFD allowed us to modify our design, reducing the pressure drop through the filter and improving efficiency.

The advanced dry filter media improves air-flow and features low-pressure drops through the media. The dry filter is cleanable and reusable as well with no risk of over-oiling and releasing oil into the intake system. We improved flow into the intake by incorporating a large bell-horn upon inlet into the intake system as well as utilizing a specific cone shape for best filter media performance. The entire filter is proudly produced in the USA.

K&N Recharger Kit 99-5000EU is designed for cleaning your K&N oiled cotton air filter when it is time to be serviced.

Part 99-5000EU is labeled in English, Spanish, Swedish, Polish and Czech for use in Europe.

The kit comes with K&N Power Kleen air filter cleaner and air filter oil.

99-5000EU will restore air flow efficiency and will bring your K&N oiled cotton air filter to like new condition. K&N Power Kleen works to dissolve the dirt build up and old filter oil, and can be washed away with water. After the air filter fully dries re-oil your air filter then reinstall it.

This Recharger Kit comes with a 204 milliliter aerosol spray can of oil and a 355 milliliter K&N pump bottle of Power Kleen air filter cleaner.
