Porsche G-Body Shift Knob and Extension
Everyone loves a more precise shifting experience, but we also know the much shorter and tighter throws are not for everyone, so we designed a way to get the best of both worlds. Our Shift Knob and Extender piece for our G-Body Shifter give the driver all the power. It was also perfectly calculated to be bigger than stock to give a better feel and fit nicely in the palm of your hand. It is offered in matte and gloss surface finishes & multiple different colour shift patterns. It also comes with two extender pieces, so no need to decide without having tried both of them. A 2.25-inch extension for the ones who want a little less tension and longer throws, as well as a 0.5-inch extender for the ones who want that short and tight feel. These pieces easily thread onto our lever in seconds to make switching in between quick and easy.
Our Shift knob is made of black Delrin. Delrin is an extremely durable thermoplastic that will hold up to both street and track use and is naturally weighted for a solid shifting feel compared to the stock lightweight shift knobs. Our shift knob weighs 126g/4.4oz as compared to stock's 30g/1oz. It also DOES NOT conduct heat like aluminium, so they are always comfortable even on a hot summer day or peak winter.

These Rennline shift knobs put a modern touch on that iconic layered shift knob that came in the infamous 917 race cars of the 70's. Like the 917 knobs, these are layered in different colors, but unlike the 917 knob you can choose your material as well as your color for each layer.
Each and every piece of this Rennline Shift Knob is CNC machined allowing each layer to slide together with precision. The top cap is threaded into the bottom, sandwiching all of the middle layers in place. Like all Rennline shift knobs, the base is CNC machined to fit specific applications, eliminating the concern of missing a gear due to loose or detached shift knob. There is no need to cut, drill, or modify your factory shift lever to install. All of our shift knobs are the ergonomically correct 1.875" diameter and are slightly weighted to improve shifter feel.

Unlike most shift knobs on the market, Rennlines are far from universal. Universal usually means that it will nearly fit some applications and will not fit the rest. All Rennline shift knobs are CNC machined to fit specific applications, eliminating the concern of missing a gear due to loose or detached shift knob. There is no need to cut, drill, or modify your factory shift lever to install. All of our shift knobs are the ergonomically correct 1.875 diameter and have rubber trim rings installed at the base.
Available in Silver and black finishes, for cars with or without integrated shift boots.

Comes With:
-Numeric Racing Shifter
-Numeric Racing Maintenance Free Shift Linkage
-Porsche Replacement Shift Rod Bushing
-Porsche Replacement Shift Lever Ball Socket (Part #: 91142413900)
Everything needed to completely remove all the slop from your shifting. All motion on the shifter is directly transferred to the transmission.
Features:
OEM Fitment: A direct swap and fitment from original shifter. Nothing required but a few common use tools.
Self Centering: Dual self centering springs (pictured yellow mounts, but will be black in final product). The shifter is centered automatically in the 3-4 plane (915 transmissions) or 2-3 plane (901 transmissions) or 1-2 plane (930 transmissions). No more spaghetti-like shifting or the shifter bouncing around. Multiple spring sizes gives a variety of side to side tension options based on your preference.
Throw reduction: Throw reduction of up to 40%. Use of a longer shift knob can increase the throw so it is only reduced by 30% if 40% is too much for preference. No more rowing.
Adjustable Reverse Lockout: Does your reverse gear get skimmed even with the stock reverse lockout? Our reverse lockout is adjustable so that it is dialed in perfectly to each car.
All Stainless Steel Hardware: All hardware is stainless steel and all aluminum is anodized. Rust won't be a worry with our shifters. Also, the reverse lockout and the bottom of the shifter is hardened steel for wear resistance.
Ball Bearings on Every Moving Axis: We remove all bushings and clips that hold the stock shifter in place and bare metal to metal contact for pivot with ball bearings. This is how we are able to remove all the play from the shifter and provide precise shifts.
Shift Rod Linkage:
-The ONLY aftermarket shift linkage that is maintenance free that isn't a U-Joint. Buy and install once, it isn't fun to keep adjusting this stock linkage every time you swap the bushings.
-No wear or play that is introduced from wear because we don't use plastic bushings. Any small play in this linkage is translated directly to the shifter, so get rid of the stock.
-Directly replaces OEM shift Linkage.
Disclaimer: The 2mm Spring option comes with yellow bushings instead of black
