Solid engine mounts are a smart upgrade to any track or aggressive street car, and were installed on Porsche factory race cars. Stock mounts are made of compliant rubber, and contribute to imprecise shifting and inferior throttle response. Solid mounts create slightly more interior vibration than rubber mounts, but securely connect the engine and transmission assembly to the car's unibody, creating a crisper throttle response and shifter feel. Roller bearings are not intended for carrying large axial loads. Similar to failure-prone ball bearings, when cylindrical roller bearings are used for thrust control, the roller becomes compromised due to the limited surface contact area on the sides of the rollers. The results of using a cylindrical bearing for thrust control will be similar to all other ball bearing solutions.

In our patented system, we use a 15mm cylindrical bearing with thrust control that allows for the separation of the axial load from the radial load. Our roller bearings do NOT carry the axis load (thrust control) on the side, which leaves the roller free to carry only the radial load (main load). The axial load is carried exclusively on the entire permitter of the outer race. This results in a bearing that is not overloaded and will last the lifetime of the engine.

Designed to slow down the power steering pump to prevent it from overheating in racing conditions, this pulley will quickly pay for itself by not just saving your pump, but also your weekend at the track.

The pulley is fully balanced and is a 16% reduction. Its weight has been optimized to be 1/2 that of any other under-drive pulley on the market today.
An additional benefit is increased power and torque across the entire RPM range.

A boss on the front of engine case will need to be cut down slightly to clear the smaller pulley size. Comes complete with the crank pulley and a new smaller belt
