L'olio cambio manuale Porsche Classic (75W-90 GL-5) è un olio ad alte prestazioni adatto per trasmissioni per impieghi gravosi nei veicoli 924, 928, 944 e 968, nonché per le trasmissioni montate su tutti i modelli 911 classici (fino a tipo 996) e nella Porsche Boxster, tipo 986.
Grazie alla tecnologia di sintesi, l'olio ha proprietà eccezionali, tra cui resistenza alle alte pressioni, stabilità al taglio e lubrificazione a temperature estreme. L'olio consente inoltre una sincronizzazione ottimale e riduce l'usura dei componenti.

Negli anni '50, '60 e '70 i motori erano costruiti con tolleranze molto più generose rispetto ad oggi, motivo per cui la viscosità di un olio deve essere sufficientemente bassa da consentirgli di penetrare in tutte le zone del motore nel modo più rapido e uniforme possibile a freddo inizia. Allo stesso tempo, però, la sua viscosità non deve essere così bassa da non avere più una pellicola lubrificante stabile quando il motore si riscalda. Gli sviluppatori hanno fatto di tutto per ottenere eccellenti proprietà di avviamento a freddo per l'olio, in modo che il motore possa essere lubrificato il più rapidamente possibile all'avvio. Il test CCS è stato particolarmente importante in questo senso, poiché simula il comportamento dell'olio nel cuscinetto dell'albero motore durante gli avviamenti a freddo ea basse temperature.
Il Porsche Classic 20W-50 è un olio minerale noto come olio base idrocrackizzato con additivi leggermente legati. Gli oli base idrocrackizzati sono caratterizzati da un livello molto basso di contaminanti, un contenuto di zolfo molto basso e un'ottima stabilità all'ossidazione e all'invecchiamento, che previene i depositi, ad esempio. Allo stesso tempo, il Porsche Classic Motoroil 20W-50 ha una viscosità HTHS (High Temperature, High Shear) estremamente elevata, che descrive la qualità dell'olio motore ad alte temperature (150 °C) nello spazio di lubrificazione e con elevato shear velocità (regime del motore). Infine, l'eccellente stabilità al taglio assicura che le proprietà lubrificanti ottimali siano mantenute in modo affidabile ad alte temperature del motore, anche dopo lunghi periodi di funzionamento e sotto carichi elevati.

Per tutti i modelli 356, 914 e 911 fino al modello G da 2,7 litri, Porsche consiglia la versione multigrado con una viscosità di 20W-50.

Il Porsche Classic 20W-50 è un olio minerale noto come olio base idrocrackizzato con additivi leggermente legati. Gli oli base idrocrackizzati sono caratterizzati da un livello molto basso di contaminanti, un contenuto di zolfo molto basso e un'ottima stabilità all'ossidazione e all'invecchiamento, che previene i depositi, ad esempio. Allo stesso tempo, il Porsche Classic Motoroil 20W-50 ha una viscosità HTHS (High Temperature, High Shear) estremamente elevata, che descrive la qualità dell'olio motore ad alte temperature (150 °C) nello spazio di lubrificazione e con elevato shear velocità (regime del motore).
