Parts For Cayenne S V6 3.0L Hybrid 380HP

About Cayenne S V6 3.0L Hybrid 380HP

During the IAA 2005, Porsche announced its intention to manufacture a hybrid variant of the Cayenne before 2010, which would be named the Porsche Cayenne Hybrid. Two years later, at the IAA 2007, Porsche unveiled a functional Cayenne Hybrid along with a demonstration model of its drivetrain.

Significant modifications were made to this vehicle, including the addition of an electric vacuum pump and hydraulic steering pump, enabling the car to operate even when the engine is deactivated. A 288-volt nickel metal hydride battery was installed under the boot floor, occupying the space typically reserved for a spare tire.

The production version, known as the 'S' Hybrid, was introduced in 2010. It featured a 3.0-L petrol V6 engine paired with an electric motor, resulting in CO2 emissions of 193 g/km. The S Hybrid made its debut in the U.S. market in November 2010.

The standout feature of this new generation is undoubtedly the world debut of the Cayenne S Hybrid, showcasing its technically advanced parallel full hybrid drive. It boasts impressive fuel efficiency in the New European Driving Cycle, consuming just 8.2 liters per 100 kilometers (equivalent to 34.4 imperial mpg) and emitting only 193 g/km of CO2. This remarkable hybrid model seamlessly combines the performance of an eight-cylinder engine with the fuel economy of a six-cylinder, while significantly reducing fuel consumption.

The 2014 Cayenne Hybrid showcased distinctive exterior features setting it apart from the rest of the range. Notable elements included the 4-LED daytime running lights, green brake calipers, and unique light-alloy wheels. Additionally, a standard rear roof spoiler enhanced its aerodynamic profile. Despite being a plug-in hybrid, the Cayenne Hybrid surprisingly featured four round exhausts.

Powering the Cayenne Hybrid was a 3.0-liter supercharged V6 engine generating 333 hp, complemented by a 95 hp electric motor for added performance.
