The Rennline Tune-able Engine Mount for the 964, 993, 996, and 997 offers the ultimate in adjust ability for your car. Replacing your compliant factory mounts will decrease engine movement resulting in better acceleration, handling and significantly increased shifter feel. This is the ultimate solution for almost any car, and allows you to tune our mounts for the way you drive. Our mounts are CNC machined from billet aluminium and include three pairs of inserts in varying densities. Tune your mounts by using the softer inserts to reduce engine slop and avoid missed shifts in your street car, or utilise the stiffest inserts to get the most from a more focused track car. You can even mix and match, giving you 9 possible combinations to let you dial in our mount to your specifications. Solid engine mounts are a smart upgrade to any track or aggressive street car, and were installed on Porsche factory race cars. Stock mounts are made of compliant rubber, and contribute to imprecise shifting and inferior throttle response. Solid mounts create slightly more interior vibration than rubber mounts, but securely connect the engine and transmission assembly to the car's unibody, creating a crisper throttle response and shifter feel. Rennline's solid mounts are CNC machined from 6061 aluminum for strength and light weight, and come as a pair with new Grade 8 mounting hardware. Sold as a set of (2)

One of the only weak points on the 964 and 993 chassis is the engine carrier. When these models are tracked, or are fitted with stiffer than stock engine mounts, the engine carrier should be reinforced. If it is not, the carrier is known to bend, crack, or even break cleanly away from an engine mount in response to increased vibration and stress. The Porsche factory was aware of this problem and equipped its race cars with a reinforced engine carrier. Rennline now exclusively offers an engine mount reinforcement gusset kit that can be welded to the engine carrier by your workshop.

One of the only weak points on the 964 and 993 chassis is the engine carrier. When these models are tracked, or are fitted with stiffer than stock engine mounts, the engine carrier is known to bend, crack, or even break cleanly away from an engine mount in response to increased vibration and stress. The Porsche factory was aware of this problem and equipped its race cars with a reinforced engine carrier. Rennline now offers a tube frame replacement for your factory engine carrier that is proven to be much stronger, and can withhold the stresses of any track day, while offering a 1.4lb weight savings over a gusseted factory carrier. All parts manufactured on cnc equipment and meticulously tig welded, finished with a matte black powdercoat.
