Original Porsche "Switchable" Valve Sports Exhaust System



The typical Porsche sound - powerful, robust, sporty. Better still, it can be further enhanced using this sports exhaust system. The sound varies with driving behavior, ranging from a robust out put during normal road driving to a distinctively more aggressive tone during performance use.

The mode of the sports exhaust system is selected using a button in the centre console, if this button is not already pre-fitted in your car you will need to order this with us by providing the chassis / VIN number when ordering.

The package includes:
- Tailpipes made of die cast aluminum.
- Two rear mufflers
- One Centre Muffler
- Exhaust straps clamps and wiring

Fabspeed's 997.2 Carrera Performance Package replaces the restrictive OEM side mufflers and center muffler for a deeper, throatier exhaust note and improved power and throttle response. The included Sport Headers replace the restrictive factory headers and cats with high-flowing performance headers and 200-cell HJS Sport cats. Lastly, the restrictive factory airbox is replaced by Fabspeed's Carbon Fiber Competition Intake System which increases the cold air flow into the engine for better power and sound.

FEATURES:

• Fits all Porsche 997.2 Carrera vehicles (2009-2012) (2012 was a split model year, a 2012 911 Carrera could be either a 997.2 or 991, please verify if your car is a 997.2 or a 991 before purchase)

• Saves 16 lbs. versus the factory components
• Adds 45 whp and 38 ft/lbs of tq
• Dramatic improvement in sports car sound and power throughout the RPM range
• Constructed from high-quality 14-16 gauge C.N.C. mandrel-bent T304L stainless steel for optimum flow and maximum durability
• All included Fabspeed components are direct bolt-on replacements for the factory counterparts
• Sport Headers feature C.N.C. mandrel-bent equal length primary pipes utilizing a 3-into-1 high velocity investment-cast pyramidal merge collector
• Sport header does not trigger the CEL and complies with most emissions regulations
• Carbon Fiber Competition Intake is a direct replacement for the OEM air box and improves cold air induction to the engine for improved throttle response and overall power
• Optional Deluxe Quad-Style Tips in your choice of finish, constructed from T304L stainless steel
• All Fabspeed performance products are backed by the Fabspeed Lifetime Warranty

Why We Choose HJS Catalytic Converters:

HJS German imported catalytic converters are made from some of the highest grade materials you can find in a catalytic converter. This yields high performance gains and longevity so it wont deteriorate over time like lower grade catalytic converters. These catalytic converters flow up to 93-95% of a straight pipe in most applications. The benefit is that you get the "straight pipe sound" while still being able to provide enough emissions scrubbing to prevent a check engine light.
