Plated/Plugged 29mm, PAIR
Fits:
For G50 Transmission
Porsche 911/912/930 1987-89
Our Plated & Plugged Hollow torsion bars are the best available. The ends are plugged to prevent moisture entry that rots ordinary hollow bars from the inside out. The entire bar is zinc plated for superior protection.
Excellent quality control means proper spline fit and spring-rate consistency bar-to-bar. Inferior quality competing bars fail on all counts.
• Hollow, light weight
• Plated & Plugged
• Consistent spring rate
• Great spline fit
Upgrade Hollow bars provide a nice weight savings over equivalent spring rate solid bars, especially true of the heavier rear bars. This is a great way to trim extra pounds from the back of your car.
* The size given is a solid-bar-equivalent. Actual hollow bar measures about. 5mm larger.

Performance
Today's sticky tire compounds generate corner loads that easily compress factory rubber bushings causing wandering alignment settings. The result is that camber and toe change unpredictably, making steering imprecise and the car difficult to drive fast.
Monoball Cartridges replace compliant factory rubber bushings with hardened-steel spherical bearings. Unlike poly bushings that bind and resist movement, true spherical bearings allow free motion on multiple axis.
• Precise, razor sharp handling
• Holds alignment settings true
• Weather-Sealed for long life
• Eliminates camber loss due to compression
• Extremely low friction
Weather Seals
Our proprietary-design Monoball cartridges have optional weather seals to keep dirt out and extend product life.
This is the only Monoball suitable for street or extended track use. Dirt and water contaminate ordinary products and accelerate wear.
Fitment
Front monoballs fit easily into the stock camber plates of 67-89 911/912/930 cars (911 341 018 00). Cars with pre-67 camber plates are recommended to switch to a 67-89 camber plate for fitment. 65 cars without camber plates require grinding to enlarge the strut top opening to allow fitment of the cartridges.
Easy Bushing Replacement How-To
Your existing bushings are pressed in place, they will need to be pressed out, and you will need to press in the new bushings but it's really easy when you have the right tools. To ease and speed the bushing removal and installation process without using a shop press please see our purpose designed Split Bushing Removal Tool and our Bushing Installation tool.

Use With RS/GT2 Type Tie Rods
Special front uprights (wheel carriers) were equipped on the 993 RS and cup cars, correctly called RS uprights but sometimes called GT2 uprights or EVO uprights. The reason for RS uprights is to correct undesired geometry changes caused by running a lower ride height.
RS upright advantages include improved suspension travel, superior camber gain, and reduced bump steer. The result is superior performance and ride quality.
RS uprights are an awesome upgrade for any lowered 993 or 964 including C2, C4 and Turbo.
Available Now!
Elephant Racing designed RS uprights faithfully reproduce the factory RS geometry. They are made of aircraft grade 7075 aluminum billet for superior strength. They are a direct replacement for the factory 993 RS uprights.
They accept standard 993 front wheel bearings and cover plates. GT2 type tie rods are required.
993 RS Upright vs Standard Upright Differences. There are three basic differences between RS uprights and standard uprights:
• The wheel bearing has been moved up about 30mm relative to the ball joint
• The steering knuckle is relocated and has inverted mounting of the tie rod
• RS uprights are aluminium as are standard 993 uprights. 964 standard uprights are steel.
993 RS Upright Geometry Correction. Lowering a 993 with stock uprights causes several undesired geometry changes, all of which are corrected by the RS uprights.
RS uprights improve camber gain. The lower control arm angles up at the ball joint end, putting the suspension in a poor point on the camber curve. RS uprights angle the lower control arm back down, thus enhancing camber gain and ride quality.
RS uprights improve suspension travel. Lowering the car compresses the front strut and reduces available suspension travel. The result is premature bottoming out, poor handling and ride quality caused by contact with the bump stop – which creates an abrupt and unsettling rise in spring rate at that corner that unsettles the car. RS uprights put back suspension travel.
RS uprights reduce bump steer. Lowering the car moves the stock tie rod into an unfavourable position on the bump steer curve, make the car a handful to drive over uneven surfaces and requiring frequent adjustments at the steering wheel to maintain a steady trajectory. RS uprights relocate the tie rod end placing bump steer in a favourable position on the curve at lowered ride height.

• 911 / 930 / 912 trailing arm bushing
• 964 / 993 front lower control arm rear bushing
• 944 front lower control arm front bushing (aluminium arms)
It used to be a difficult task
This clever tool is a real time saver that makes easy work of removing split bushings. Doing the job with the arms still on the car for 911, 964, and 993 saves time and labor.
Split bushings are actually two separate bushings, each pressed in from opposite sides of the arm. Removing them requires driving them out from the parting line where they meet, in the center of the arm. This has traditionally been a difficult job that requires removing the arm and fumbling with a punch to try and drive out the bushings from the center.
Easy & quick
This tool makes it easy to engage the parting line and drive out the bushing. It is so easy that the job can be performed without removing the arm from the 911, 964, and 993.
Pro Mechanics and DIY'ers alike will appreciate the time saving this tool provides.
Combine with bushing installation tools part #2020904 to complete the job.

Stock rubber bushings compress and deform under heavy cornering, braking, and acceleration loads. The compliant rubber bushings allow the entire rear subframe shift about relative to the chassis. Rear camber and toe settings wander along with the subframe making the car less predictable, less stable in turns.
Our solid bushings replace the compliant rubber and do not deform under cornering loads, keeping the subframe in position and alignment true even under heavy cornering loads. The car becomes more predictable and easier to drive fast.
Corrects Geometry
Raises the subframe by 10mm to improve geometry and camber curve on lowered cars.
Build Quality
Each bushing consists of two pieces… identical upper and lower pucks.
Each piece is precision machined from high-strength aluminium with an anodized finish for protection.

Tire Rub Prevention Kit solves the problem of tires rubbing the inner wheel well at full lock. Rubbing happens on some cars even with stock tires and the problem is very common with oversize tires/wheels.
Tire rubbing is an unsafe condition since it has the effect of unexpected front-wheel braking and will fail a tech inspection with many track clubs.
This kit works by adjusting the full-lock position of the steering wheel, allowing you to prevent tires from rubbing.
The kit is installed between the steering rack and the tie rods, both sides. It can be used on turbo and regular tie rod vehicles.

Our GT3 front suspension delivers superior grip and ride quality.
We've adapted our 997 GT3 control arms to fit early '65-'89 911 and '70-'76 914. The system includes a complete subframe and replaces the stock crossmember, control arms, mounts, bushings and ball joints. Built from aircraft grade aluminum, the system is about half the weight of the replaced components.
Ease of adjustment
Easily adjust camber, caster and even track width.
Left and right threaded double adjusters are provisioned on the control and caster arms to provide for easy length adjustment without disconnecting the member.
Low friction, spherical action
Low friction allows the suspension to follow road/track irregularities smoothly, keeping tire contact patches stable. Ride and performance are greatly improved.
Pivot points are precision spherical heim joints, oversized for strength and durability. Spherical heim joints move freely with very low friction, yet precisely position suspension members to maintain alignment settings with zero deflection under load. Lack of deflection makes the car predictable and easier to drive fast, reducing need for constant corrections by the driver.
Spherical action of the heim joints self aligns continuously, ensuring smooth non-binding action even when the chassis is flexing under load.
Weathersealed
Heim and ball joints are completely sealed to keep out contaminants and water. The result is a extended life and a robust system suitable for street or track use.
Improved Geometry and subframe
Control arms are longer than stock to provide a improved camber curve and grip when cornering. Front pickup point is similarly moved inboard to maintain a stable caster curve.
Our GT3 subframe includes longitudinal members that connect the front mounts back to the crossmember. This provides a proper load path to transfer the considerable braking forces from the front mounts back to the crossmember. This mimics the braking load path of the factory 935 arms and product control arms.
Braking loads are thus fed into the chassis at the crossmember, as intended by the factory.
Fit and finish
Attention to detail stands out. From the quality of the machine work to the hard anodize finish that is both attractive and scratch resistant. Stressed threads are heli-coiled for strength. Heim joints are replaceable and sealed for durability.
The system readily bolts onto your existing chassis, no drilling or welding required – installation is completely reversible.
You can buy spare control arms if they need replacing. Part number 2180016-SA

22 mm Swaybar
Building a vintage racer?
This is the perfect swaybar for your replica 911RSR, RS, ST, or any vintage racer. They are the perfect combination of a vintage RSR looking design, combined with all the proven modern technology of our standard 911 swaybars. The arms are copies of the real RSR arms, but redesigned to fit onto our light weight hollow 4130 chrome moly swaybar. We've even managed to design in additional adjustability over the origional RSR design. The front and rear drop links are also similar looking to the real RSR design, except with larger and more robust Teflon lined rod ends. All the aluminum parts are made from 6061-T6 aluminum, and are hard anodized gray in color, for corrosion resistance and a more period correct look.
Note:
All 74-89 911 front swaybar kits require conversion to through chassis design, including nut plate and u-bracket adaptors below.
The 22mm size is a 1.00" OD hollow tube, with a stiffness equivalent of a 22mm solid bar.

Standard Length WithOut Tie-Rod Ends
Improve steering precision and feedback
Turbo tie rods improve feedback and steering precision by replacing the rubber tie rod bushings with ball socket ends. Originally equipped on the 911 turbo, they can be installed on the normal 911, 912, & 914.
We offer turbo tie rods in standard length for '69-'89 911 series cars, and a special extra-long version for '65-'68 911/912. The '65-'68 cars have a narrow steering rack which causes inadequate tie rod thread engagement without our extra long turbo tie rods.
The standard kits are complete with tie rods, spacing washers, and steering rack boots for both sides. We also offer the kits without the tie rod ends. Choose this option if you are using a tie rod end bump steer kit

Lowered cars with non-RS wheel carriers suffer from bump steer and will benefit from bump geometry correction.
Bump steer is a change in toe due to vertical movement of the wheel, such as when driving over a bump. The toe change causes the car to turn, and the driver needs to constantly correct for this to maintain a steady trajectory. This makes the car a handful to drive, especially over bumpy road surfaces.
Bump correction is achieved by moving the tie rod end pivot about 10mm closer to the steering knuckle as compared to the stock tie rod end. This changes the angle of the tie rod to produce the bump geometry correction.
No Need To Convert Wheel Carriers
This Bump Steer Correcting Tie Rod kit provides bump geometry correction with the standard C2/C4 wheel carriers. It is not necessary to convert the wheel carriers to RS type to correct for bump steer when using our kit.
- Corrects for bump steer
- Eliminates rubber inner-joint
- Enhanced driving precision
- Easier and more cost effective than RS wheel carrier conversion
These Elephant Racing bump steer tie rods also eliminate the compliant rubber inner-joint found in the factory 964 tie rods with a spherical bearing providing a more direct and responsive steering feel. Thus, proper suspension geometry is restored, driver corrections are minimized, and vehicle trajectory is stabilized making driving control easier while reducing driver fatigue.
Out Performs All Other Tie Rods
Even on cars fresh from the Porsche factory assembly lines our anti-bump steer kit will reduce bump steer through the full range of motion.

Stock 911 rear swaybar mounts have a nasty habit of tearing away from the body. Stiff sway bars and aggressive driving only accelerate the inevitable mount failure.
Replace your mounts with these super strong aftermarket mounts and solve the problem for good. Requires grinding off the factory mounts and welding for installation.
The mounts have two sets of screw holes to fit both the 66mm bolt spacing as equipped on the 1978 to 1989 cars as well as the 56mm bolt spacing as equipped on the 1965 to 1977 cars.
• Fully machined surfaces for a precision fit
• Consistent material thickness for easy installation
• Tighter tolerances, more surface area, and stronger than any other rear swaybar mounts available.

5mm larger.

Use a pipe clamp or shop press to complete the install.
Restore Ride and Performance
Rubber is the choice if you want to restore factory ride and performance in a zero-maintenance solution.
Quality Design
Don't confuse Elephant Racing OEM spec control arm bushings with inferior products offered without installation tools. Those products have a loose fit to allow tool-less installation. The loose fit causes excessive bushing deformation, torsion bar rubbing, premature wear, bushing slippage, and changing corner balance. Be sure you are getting genuine Elephant Racing OEM spec bushings.

Non-Binding, Friction- Free Movement
Elephant Racing's proprietary-design Low-Friction Control Arm Mounts allow for free control arm movement, eliminating any potential for binding. We've corrected a key factory design limitation; our mounts self-align in all axis, becoming collinear to avoid binding as the arm moves through its range of motion.
Factory Mounts and Binding
911 series and 914 factory control arm mounts pivot allow for self-alignment in the horizontal plane only. Any misalignment in the vertical plane results in pinching and binding at the bushing that resists free movement of the control arm.
Non-colinear axis binding
Factory mounting points (stamped sheet metal) are imprecise at best and can be substantially off due to frontal impacts, pot holes, or suspension pan replacement. If the mounts are not collinear, the control arm will bind with any performance bushing compound or bearing.
Self-Aligning Low-Friction Mounts
Our Low-Friction Control Arm Mounts self-align in both the horizontal and vertical planes. The result is collinear front and rear mounts delivering smooth non-binding action. You get superior performance and a smoother ride.
Control Arm Mount Kit
Kit includes everything required to upgrade one car. Factory rear mounts are replaced with our self-aligning mounts. Factory front mounts are retained and augmented with self-aligning washers.
With this kit installed, both front and rear control arm mounts self-align in both vertical and horizontal planes. They become collinear, allowing free non-binding motion of the control arm.
Our mounts replicate the factory form factor and work in conjunction with Polybronze bearings, polyurethane, or any other hard compound bushing or bearing. Fits both aluminum and steel suspension cross-members.

Improved Handling and Precision
Our Rear Subframe Solid Bushing kit improves handling and precision by providing geometry correction for lowered cars and eliminating deflection. Porsche recognizes these performance benefits and uses a similar solid rear subframe mounting approach on the latest GT3 street and Cup racecars.
Replaces stock rubber bushings in the rear subframe of the Porsche 996 and 997 cars, raising the subframe into the chassis 6.5mm (.25 inch).
Geometry Correction
Lowering the 996/997 provides the benefits of lower center of gravity and improved appearance. Unfortunately lowering also causes the rear suspension members to angle down as the inner links drop with the chassis and the outer links remain at wheel upright height. This downward angle harms performance.
With the suspension members angling up towards the wheel the Roll Center is lowered which causes increased chassis lean, toe and camber curves are shifted and become less optimal, static toe and camber adjustments are shifted often exceeding the range of the stock adjusters.
Our kit raises the rear subframe .25 inches (6.5mm) to help reverse the negative effects of lowering. Suspension member angles are improved and performance is enhanced. Our upper bushing fits inside the subframe, eliminating the entire thickness of the upper rubber bushing for the greatest possible geometry correction achievable from bushings alone.
Eliminate Deflection
Stock rubber bushings compress and deform under heavy cornering, braking, and acceleration loads. The compliant rubber bushings allow the entire rear subframe shift about relative to the chassis. Rear camber and toe settings wander along with the subframe making the car less predictable, less stable in turns.
Our solid bushings replace the compliant rubber and do not deform under cornering loads, keeping the subframe in position and alignment true even under heavy cornering loads. The car becomes more predictable and easier to drive fast.
Build Quality
Each bushing consists of two pieces, an upper plug and lower puck. The plug is machined from solid aluminum with knurled edges for perfect fit.
Lower puck is machined from solid steel with zinc finish for protection.
